Occupational Therapy
In general terms, Children’s Occupational Therapists enable children and young people with additional needs to participate in and successfully manage the activities that they want or need to do at home or school. We consider how any motor skills difficulties and/or sensory processing differences are affecting a child’s participation at home or school.

The Occupational Therapist (OT for short) at Treetops works jointly and alongside the Speech and Language Therapists and the Thrive Licenced Practitioner in the Therapy Team. Like the whole therapy team, OT works with teaching staff, providing services on a universal, targeted and specialist level. Click on the words for further information on each level.
